Sometimes when a musician releases a song, they'll make a music video to go with it. It can help pull in an audience and tell a story.

Mm. It's a similar idea with movie trailers, though those don't give you the whole movie.

Why can't you just let the music speak for itself? Unless...its like a movie for music?

It really depends on the music! Sometimes the video will tell more of a story... but a lot of the time I think people just do it because it's expected.

Candy being a point system does make some sense. Maybe you get to eat them at the end?

[Douman looks down at the hand on their knee, and offers Fukuda a light smile.]

Some people are really food motivated. I can sometimes get my roommate to study by offering him his favorite food.
