What kind of equipment would that be... would it be possible to replicate it through, for example, Simulations, or is it more directly physically affecting?
Aaah, I doubt it would be possible to do that. So it doesn't matter, really. [Evade evade.]
In any case, for what we have at our disposal, I don't doubt our dour doctor will be of use, if we have to rely on him. He told me he knows the human body inside out and he seems to know how to perform an autopsy.
Oh, that he does. I actually had him show me an autopsy procedure through the Simulations. He's educated in the matter of the human body for educational purposes. He's no forensic scientist, he told me as much himself, but it's better than none and I think I could supply some insight on the latter aspect.
...Not that I'm any kind of forensic scientist, mind you -- but I've seen a lot to make some educated guesses.
Varying. I'm the subcommander of an organization whose main task is to find and dismantle any dangerous operations that threaten the safety of the city, in a place where humans and beings of the Beyond coexist in the same plane.
That's sometimes included having to look at unusual murders to trace MOs, illegal drugs or other enhancements, magic signatures... and that also includes sometimes working with other forces, like the police and military.
[ There, a very real and somewhat thorough answer. ]
Mm... well, I'm just the subcommander, after all. The most important one is the boss.
Either way, even though half of my team is idiots, they're all capable when they really put their mind to it -- I made sure I left things in a way that they could keep functioning while I went on my, ah, business trip. [ Yeah he's just going to casually diss the shit out of them where they can't hear. ]
[ Bold of you to assume he'll put in the same amount of effort he does into Hellsalem's Lot into you bozos. None of you are Klaus, his attachment is limited. But also no Fukuda you're not worming your way out of this. ]
Well, it's not like I can do it alone at any rate. If it weren't for other people, or those other organizations I mentioned, I wouldn't be able to get much more done than the lay man.
...What do you specialize in as a detective, anyway?
[ so the only reason you got laid was because someone was moronsexual right
Steven takes a moment. And clarifies in the way where he'd rather you just Not be the way you are but fine. Fukuda didn't say he actually was a detective, just that he could be one. ]
...Critical thinking? Analysis? What makes you capable of being a brilliant detective?
Hm. Well, I suppose that's true, and it's a thought that I've had myself. Put myself in their shoes to think, where would I go if I were them?
...But if you're looking for a concrete answer -- yes. My hands aren't clean in that aspect. My job, even before my current one, revolved around the eradication or sealing of "Blood Breeds", a powerful type of vampire. Now, whether you count a monster like that within the realm of "killing someone" is up to you to decide.

[ FUKUDA YOUR QUALIFIERS. They don't invoke much faith in your supposed brilliance. ]
Really? What would be the "right situation"?

[Uselessly vague as usual.]

Wow. It sounds like you must be quite busy, then. You sound really important, actually. Hopefully nothing happens to your home while you're here...

Alright, so you're just brilliant in the right conditions in certain topics, is what you're actually trying to say. [ You jobless motherfucker. ]

We're getting along.

[THAT'S HOW THEY SUCK YOU IN, YOU FOOL.]
If the vampires you're familiar with are like that, rather than monsters, I suppose it would be like killing a person.
