[ Despite his half-assed efforts, the conversation continues to be about him. He doesn't even pay any attention to Fukuda and his look. He just sighs. ]

A pretty long time. These days the vampire fighting is more an occupational hazard and though it's one of the cores of what I do, I have a lot of other responsibilities. Which often include boring as hell bureaucracy.

I'm sure it's normal to you, Steven, but to me it sounds like the premise for a cool TV show. I bet Omi thinks so, too.

Mm, well. I suppose the answer is yeah, there's a lot. Even more mundanely, managing everyone's paychecks and hours and all that.

I watched the clock. They're not all that accurate across the building, but I'd say about an hour... which means, whenever the clock strikes midnight.

May I remind you that I'm in Despair, helping someone indulge in this nonsense sounds like nothing short of an awful idea.

As for Omi's quip... he just looks over at him and shrugs. ] I had a bad Monday. He just convinced me to take my exhaustion to somewhere nicer was all. [ Fukuda maybe saw him that day, he looked a right mess. ]

What do you even do for Envy? I have assumptions, but what have you actually done so far?
