It's that very same attitude that I'm describing as "so much".
It's difficult to figure out whether you have ulterior motives, though I'm sure you'd tell me there's none. You say things, and then they turn out different than what your initial statement tends to imply. Which, you also imply things that are often never followed up, and it's hard to tell if it's because you're hiding things or simply just because it's all you have to say on the matter.

I have to, otherwise I'd just be uncertain forever. After a certain point, I have to start drawing profiles of people so I know how to categorize them.

When you deal with as many kinds of people as I do, especially when it comes to criminals and organizations and the like, you have to start counting them as profiles, or sure: "data".
