No, no, not at all. I stated my terms and you met them fairly. Water under the bridge. In fact, consider this a gift.

[ As soon as Fukuda enters the kitchen, Vlad will approach and shove something at his chest--but a gentle shove. ]

Here.

[ It's...salad tongs attached to a belt, held together with some kitchen twine? ]

[ Scoffs. ]

Look, I know it isn't ideal. Believe me, I tried making a better version, but apparently working on anything in the lab or the blacksmith's just leads to those items being permanently trapped there.

This is the best I could do within the limitations. And isn't having some kind of tool for a hand better than none at all?

Yes.

Here--would you rather I help you put it on and show you how it works?

[ And so Vlad does! He fits the tongs onto Fukuda's stump and secures them in place with the belt, which he ties around his arm. ]

It requires manual operation to open and close, but I did include some string to at least make it easier to hold any given position as you need.

As I said--it's shoddy work, really, not nearly up to my usual standards, but it's the best I could manage with the resources at hand.

...

Pun not intended.
